A practical supplier review guide for industrial nitrogen projects. Check equipment identity, performance evidence, reference relevance, spare parts and acceptance responsibilities before placing an order.
Prepare one enquiry package that suppliers can price on the same basis. This guide covers demand evidence, gas specifications, site utilities, delivery scope and acceptance records, with a published laser-cutting example.
A compressor nameplate is not a nitrogen energy figure. Learn how to calculate kWh per usable Nm³, include air treatment and boosters, and compare full- and part-load duty fairly.
Nitrogen purity does not define moisture. Learn how to specify pressure dew point, distinguish feed-air and product-gas measurements, and verify a dry-nitrogen requirement.
Separate inlet, outlet and point-of-use pressure, calculate distribution loss, and decide when a nitrogen receiver or booster is actually required.
Compare PSA and membrane nitrogen generators by purity, flow, compressed-air demand, footprint, start-up, maintenance and site conditions.
