Kazakhstan oilfield air/nitrogen system

The project record lists one integrated oilfield air and nitrogen system supplied for China Oil HBP, demonstrating cross-border engineering capability.

01 / CONTEXT

Project overview

The project record lists one integrated oilfield air and nitrogen system supplied for China Oil HBP, demonstrating cross-border engineering capability.

02 / PROBLEM

Operational challenge

An integrated air/nitrogen package still needs defined power, cooling, gas, drainage and control interfaces. Transport, spares and site support belong in the scope. Chinese gas prices cannot establish local project economics.

03 / ENGINEERING

Engineered solution

These are engineering considerations for this configuration. Project documents confirm the delivered scope, control design, test conditions and interface responsibilities.

The available record supports the configuration summary; no shipment date, customer acceptance or measured operating result is added here.

04 / VALUE

Project value

For a similar duty, assess supply continuity, maintenance, gas quality and total cost separately. The economic model below illustrates a calculation; it does not prove this customer’s saving or payback.

EQUIPMENT & DELIVERY

Leave room to maintain the package

A container combines equipment and interfaces in an engineered package. Check heat rejection, ventilation, drainage, noise, maintenance and electrical isolation. Transport dimensions and lifting arrangements require a separate review; this concept has no assumed dimensions.

EQUIPMENT & DELIVERY

Delivery starts before the package leaves the factory

Confirm the equipment list, preservation, lifting points, centre of gravity and transport limits before dispatch. The site prepares foundations, power, earthing, gas and drainage interfaces. Written responsibilities reduce rework. This image illustrates preparation, not a case shipment.

EQUIPMENT & DELIVERY

Verify every interface before connection

Agree who prepares foundations, power, earthing, gas connections, drainage and maintenance access before installation. Hook-up is followed by leak checks and agreed functional tests. This is a generic installation illustration, not a customer-site record.

PROJECT RECORD

A project record from system configuration to operational handover.

The record follows three evidence lines: configuration, manufacturing and integration, then installation and commissioning. Images come from existing equipment, integration or commissioning records; text is tied to the confirmed location, industry, model and quantity.

PROJECT DELIVERY

From duty confirmation to stable production

Technical boundaries, delivery responsibilities and acceptance criteria are defined early to prevent interface rework on site.

  1. 01

    Duty analysis

Confirm flow, purity, pressure, dew point, operating hours, peaks and current gas cost.

  2. 02

    Engineering and tender

Define scope, select equipment, model energy use and support technical tender documents.

  3. 03

    Detailed design

Confirm utilities, interfaces, controls, safety interlocks, civil works and piping.

  4. 04

    Manufacturing and inspection

Build to controlled drawings and inspect key components, assembly, leakage, electrical and performance.

  5. 05

    Logistics and installation

Coordinate packing, transport, lifting, piping, power and site readiness.

  6. 06

    Commissioning and acceptance

Complete checks, integrated start-up, purity and flow verification, training and acceptance records.

  7. 07

    Production and warranty

Track operating data and maintenance, with one-year contractual warranty and remote support.

ECONOMICS

Return-on-investment model

Model, quantity and design capacity come from the project record. The table uses only the provided RMB 0.35/m³ on-site cost and RMB 0.90–1.20/m³ delivered price to calculate an auditable annual cost spread.

Annual nitrogen volume1,800,000 m³
On-site generation costRMB 0.35 / m³
Delivered bulk nitrogenRMB 0.90–1.20 / m³
LOAD × HOURS60% × 6,000 h

RMB 0.90 / m³RMB 1,620,000RMB 630,000RMB 990,000
RMB 1.05 / m³Midpoint scenarioRMB 1,890,000RMB 630,000RMB 1,260,000
RMB 1.20 / m³RMB 2,160,000RMB 630,000RMB 1,530,000

FORMULA

Full calculation

  1. Annual volume = design capacity × planned load × annual operating hours
  2. Annual delivered cost = annual volume × delivered nitrogen price
  3. Annual on-site cost = annual volume × RMB 0.35/m³
  4. Annual cost spread = delivered cost − on-site cost
  5. Annual net saving = cost spread − electricity adjustment − maintenance − finance and tax
  6. Simple payback = total tax-inclusive investment ÷ annual net saving; 5-year ROI = [5 × annual net saving − total investment] ÷ total investment × 100%

Contract value and actual customer gas bills are not public, so this page does not invent investment, payback or ROI. Provide total investment, local power price, operating hours and maintenance budget for a formal calculation.

Illustrative model: RMB 0.35/m³ and RMB 0.90–1.20/m³ are reference inputs, not this customer’s bills. Load and hours are assumptions. Identify energy and maintenance already included in the on-site rate before deducting additional costs. Use the same volume basis; overseas projects require local prices and currency.
